yeh, I forgot that pic in my photo library!!! This was made on the drive to Bad Hofgastein in Salzburg, where I had a seminar from Sept. 4th – 6th.
Location: shot right at a parking lot on the motorway between Salzburg and Bischofshofen!
where will I go now?

Another year has passed. I am always feeling a bit depressed on or after my birthdays. Since saturday my thoughts are focused on “what will the next year bring for me?” or “how will things go on at work or in private life?” …
… you see, all those usual questions everyone has … or will have from time to time! Am I right or am I right?
Btw, I just noticed that I wrote “…work or in private life…” before! Oh my, what does this mean again?

Been rather busy during the last 2 months. Some seminars, my bike test, work at home in the garden …. almost no time for photographing.
Last weekend I made a sightseeing flight over some parts of Lower and Upper Austria. The following 2 pics are from that trip .. a view of the old city center of Steyr and a shot of the Traunsee in the early morning time.
Hope you like the photos. Comments appreciated!
Canon 350D, exposure time: 1/160 s, aperture: f/10.0, focal length: 33 mm
Canon 350D, exposure time: 1/250 s, aperture: f/10.0, focal length: 35 mm
Both shots were a bit re-worked with a tilt-shift-effect.
a meeting with a panoramic view
•June 5, 2009 • Leave a CommentLast wednesday I had an IT-meeting in Vienna .. and I had this view the whole day… right from the meetingroom on the 8th floor! So I couldn´t resist to make some shots with my little point&shoot Sony Cybershot.
And .. oh yes, the lunch we got up there was just perfect
Sony Cybershot DSC-W55, exposure time: 1/200 s, aperture: f/7.1, focal length: 6.3 mm
On the second photo here you can see the Danube-Tower on the left side:

The bad side: I had to make these photos through the windows! You just couldn´t open them!

Canon 350D, exposure time: 1/200 s, aperture: f/10.0, focal length: 27 mm (using a Cokin filter, too – light blue gradient – the sunlight was too harsh on this day). After doing a bit of rework with Picasa (yes, no Photoshop), I let this photo even run through the “Tiltshiftmaker”.
The more I am concentrating on making my motorbike-license, the more bikes I am noticing each day. Even on that daytrip lots and lots of them were zoooming by .. and I am really getting envious. Too bad that I can´t buy a bike this year ..
