taking a break at the lake :-)

Made a nice tour with my colleague Gerald – had some nice stops at the lakes in the Salzkammergut (Salt Estate Chamber). The tour took us from Waidhofen/Ybbs to Admont – Liezen – Bad Mitterndorf – Hallstatt – Mondsee – Gmunden – Bad Hall back to the area of Waidhofen/Ybbs. All in all about 420 km. It was Gerald´s first longer tour on his KLE 500.

Here you can see my XJ6 at a stop near Gmunden, still high above the Traunsee:

Springtime is hayfever-time :-)

Bad luck for me .. yes, all the people are out in the sun, enjoying the warm weather .. and I have to stay inside. My allergy is keeping me from being outside the whole time, taking a walk with my camera or riding my motorbike. I am sneezing too often to be safe on the bike .. I hope my allergy will go away soon..

Right now I am looking like Rudolf, the red-nosed reindeer ;-)

on the road again last sunday afternoon .. this time visiting the Monastery of St.Florian in Upper Austria. It´s not very far away from my home, but strange: I have never been there before in my life ..

A snapshot from last sunday´s trip to Upper Austria and Styria! This here was made at a nice place somewhere between Altenmarkt and Grossreifling. I had to walk down a small and dirty path – away from the main road – to get a decent view of the fantastic landscape .. after a few minutes of walking I could get a capture of the mountains and those impressive clouds. Of course my shoes were muddy all over then
;-)

A shot, made in summer time! I am envious of those guys up there, must be a great view down to earth. But despite wanting to see that (to shoot tons of photos), I am still too scared to go up there with a tandem flight ;-)
